I've got a unique perspective on health.

My journey started in the hustle of healthcare, where I saw the effects
of stress and illness up close. Experiencing several Burnout
episodes first hand
! That's what drove me to explore natural
health and wellness.

I've also been on the other side of the prescription pad
as a pharmaceutical sales rep, so I understand both
traditional medicine and the need for
holistic approaches to well-being.

My story:
From burnout to balance

Hey there!

I've got quite the journey to share with you.

You see, I used to be the ultimate overachiever and a self-proclaimed perfectionist, especially during my time in the Nursing Profession.

 I specialized in Endocrinology, Gastroenterology, and Male Sexual Health, and I also ventured into General Practice. But one of my proudest accomplishments was successfully managing and launching "The Home Hospital Service" from a large tertiary Hospital in New Zealand. Taking on challenges has always been my thing.

Things really started to get intense when I transitioned into the role of developing the Endocrine Nurse Specialist. I was collaborating with specialists and fellow nurses not just in New Zealand but also in Australia.

While this was incredibly rewarding, it also took a toll on me. At the time, I was juggling the responsibilities of work, a young child, and a teenager. And that's when I had my first encounter with burnout.

The funny thing is, I didn't even realize I was burning out. I just kept pushing myself, ignoring the exhaustion, until my body forced me to take a break with a handful of stress-related illnesses. But, unfortunately, I didn't learn my lesson.

I quickly bounced back to work with the same grueling workload, and within a year, I found myself right back in the same exhausted state.

This time, it took much longer for me to recover, and the fatigue was relentless. Still, I plowed ahead, taking on even more work and hardly giving myself any downtime.

I vividly remember a moment during this period when I walked into my office after managing an overbooked clinic and looked out the window at the clouds. That's when it hit me: "Oh my God!!!!, nurses need a voice, we need to be heard! This is not sustainable!................. I feel so broken."

Back in the early 2000s, that moment of realization inspired me to one day create a platform where healthcare professionals and others in stressful positions could come together to speak up about their uncontrollable workloads and be heard.  And here it is!!!

But my journey doesn't end there though!! 

The good news is that I've managed to regain control over my energy. I've developed tools that I now incorporate into my daily routines to maintain a happy and balanced lifestyle.

You know, my life's journey has been quite the rollercoaster, and I've learned some incredibly valuable lessons along the way.

It's not just about overcoming burnout; it's about embracing a balanced and fulfilling life. I've come to appreciate the importance of self-care and setting boundaries, and these are the tools I'm eager to share with you.

Conscious Vibes, the sound healing ensemble I've been a part of for nearly a decade, has been a truly transformative experience. We bring together a blend of instruments and talents to create an environment where people can find peace and healing through sound.

With my singing vocals, guitar, keyboard, and talented band members on digeridoos', I've witnessed firsthand the incredible impact of music and vibrations on our well-being.

I've have more stories about burnout, resilience, and the path to balance that I incorporate into my courses and interactions.

My goal is to help you find your own path to a happy and harmonious life.

When I began the coaching program with Tracy I had been through a prolonged period of stress
after a particularly hard year of teaching. This seemed to trigger a trauma response as the
cumulative effect of many years of high stress and trauma began to cause physiological responses as
well as mental and emotional responses within my body.

When I signed up to complete the coaching program with Tracy by overarching goal was to put
myself back in the centre of my life; creating time for myself and my partner. I also wanted to focus
on creating a healthy lifestyle through nutrition, movement and relaxation practises.

Tracy’s course materials are very well laid out and easy to follow. She demonstrates a deep
understanding of Ayurveda which she presents in her videos in a very calm, clear and methodical
manner. In our zoom coaching sessions, Tracy is very warm in her approach and easy to talk to. The
biggest change I have noticed since beginning the course is a deeper sense of calm, something which
Tracy has also noticed and commented on in our sessions.

"When Tracy took me on I had three main objectives that I was hopeful of finding a non medicine base solution for. They were, a nasty case of frozen shoulder, regular severe joint pain, and wildly fluctuating energy levels through each day.

Tracy was able to assist by addressing my long time unchecked dietary habits. She mentored me through introducing a very effective anti inflammatory diet, which also levelled my energy through the day nicely.
The biggest change I’ve found is a virtually complete resolution of my joint pain. This is massive, as I’ve been struggling with this for more than a decade. As for the frozen shoulder, it is progressing, but some things will just take some time.

My energy through the day is now very even, I’m not swinging from peak to trough, reaching for cup of tea after cup of tea!

8 week Breakthrough Program

My top three goals upon starting the coaching program were:
       o Reduce stress levels along with over thinking/mind clutter.
       o Have improved mental (and physical) energy at the end of my working day for personal and home             activities (I was coming home exhausted most days with little left after work).
       o Gain in ability to have mental calmness particularly to sleep better at night.

TRACY was able to help me work toward my goals by:
       o Supporting me to gain clarity and focus on the “present”.
       o Identify triggers and break cycles of emotional mental energy drain/distraction caused by                             “unproductive” thinking habits of past and future.
       o Identify obstacles (and recurring frustrations) that block progress.

       o A reduction in negative thoughts and reactions, many of which I wasn’t acutely aware, that were                causing distractions/clutter from unnecessary past and present recurring concerns.
       o A new perspective and motivation on my own abilities for positive change.

The most significant overall change I’ve noticed has been:
       o A positive mental change and perspective that has improved my mental energy/focus on items at               hand.
       o Living (and enjoying) the present moment.
       o Motivation for both my work and home life activities.

I would describe TRACY as:
       o Focused, personable and capable of helping her clients of all backgrounds and situations to:
            ▪ achieve improved outcomes, particularly in burnout or where people are in stressful or stagnated                situations and want to regain their “life” balance and sense of purpose.
            ▪ “rediscover” or renew their own abilities to address aspects of their current situations.

8 Week Breakthrough Program

• My main goal upon starting the coaching program was to create a better work-life balance and to develop strategies to enable me to work through symptoms of burn out.

• Tracey was able to help me work toward my goals by asking tunnelling questions to enable me to ‘drill down’ and determine what my main goals are and to clarifying achievable steps towards achieving them.

• The biggest tangible change I’ve noticed since beginning the program has been that I am more aware of my ‘triggers’. I am better able to pause and observe rather than react. I had been out of touch for many years with the use of essential oils and meditation as a daily practice.
